Before making the move to Sugar Land in Texas, she lived for five years in Oklahoma as well as West Texas. When she was ten years old she was able to begin acting at Fort Bend Community Theatre. Clements High School graduated her in 2000. Baylor University granted her a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis on theatrical performance.
